Cookies & privacy

How ClanOps uses optional analytics, remembers your choice and protects the content editor.

Your choice

Google Analytics is optional. It is blocked until you select Accept analytics. Reject analytics keeps it off without limiting access to the public guides. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice at any time.

Withdrawing consent stops further analytics on this browser, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page to stop the running tag. It does not erase information already received by Google. Choices are specific to this browser and device.

Cookies and browser storage

NamePurposeDuration
clanops-analytics-consent-v1Local storage, not a cookie. Remembers your analytics decision and expiry.180 days; renewed when you choose again. Expired choices are ignored and you are asked again.
_ga and _ga_3XSPJB7SGKOptional Google Analytics identifiers for visitors and sessions.Configured for up to 180 days; browser restrictions may shorten this.
CF_Authorization, CF_AppSession and CF_SessionEssential Cloudflare Access sign-in and security cookies when accessing the protected editor.Application sessions are configured for 24 hours; the Access sign-in CSRF cookie lasts up to 4 hours.

Cloudflare may also use security cookies if it presents an anti-abuse challenge. These are separate from optional analytics. Our public site does not require a visitor account. Blocking essential cookies may prevent editor sign-in.

What analytics measures

When enabled, Google Analytics receives visit and interaction information such as page addresses, referring sites, browser/device details and cookie identifiers. Google processes technical connection information to provide the service. ClanOps uses the resulting reports to understand site usage. We have disabled Google signals and advertising personalization in the site tag.

The analytics consent choice is the basis for this optional measurement. Google provides the analytics service and may process information outside your country under its applicable data protection arrangements. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites.

Hosting and contact information

Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process request details, including IP addresses and technical logs, for delivery, security and troubleshooting. This necessary processing supports the legitimate interest of operating a reliable site. Nick maintains ClanOps. Messages you send us are used to answer your enquiry and handle corrections or privacy requests; keep them limited to what is needed.

Analytics cookie duration is separate from retention of reports and server logs. Retention of service data depends on provider and account settings; ask us about a specific request. We do not ask you to provide game passwords or payment details.

External links and support payments

Buy Me a Coffee is an external link, not an embedded payment widget. Its own privacy and cookie rules apply when you visit it. Payments are handled by that provider; ClanOps does not receive your card details through this site.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you can ask for access, correction or deletion of personal information, restriction or objection to processing, or portability where relevant. You can withdraw optional analytics consent through Cookie settings. Contact hello@tbclanops.com for privacy enquiries. You can also raise a concern with your local data protection authority, including the AEPD in Spain.
