Runic Raids

Army colours, Guardsmen requirements, stacking ratios and raid composition.

Agree the raid before assembling the army

Start with the raid level, entry colour and organiser’s instructions. The table is a reference for planning eligible Guardsmen tiers; check the actual event window before committing troops.

Amanitore specialises in army bonuses for group marches, raids and reinforcements. Compare her current bonuses with the Captains you have developed rather than choosing purely by name.

Use the ratios as proportions

The stacking example describes relative unit counts. It does not mean you must send a fixed army size. If you choose 100 Flying as your 1× group, the example becomes 1,000 Mounted, 2,000 Melee and 2,000 Ranged.

That arithmetic illustrates the ratio only. Your available units, troop tiers, capacity and the enemy still determine whether the composition is suitable.

Captain and army

  • Use Amanitore, or your best Fighting Captain.
  • Select monsters and mercenaries that fit the organiser’s formation and your loss budget.
  • Use your strongest appropriate troops within that agreed plan.

Check the current enemy traits before applying a stacking plan. The ratio is a starting formation, not a guaranteed result.

Raid size

  • A coordinated five-player group is a useful starting plan when the activity allows it; check the current raid capacity and organiser’s requirements.

A useful organiser checklist

  • Share the raid target, level and entry requirements clearly.
  • Agree who is leading and what each participant should send.
  • Check that everyone is preparing the same target and start time.
  • Review the total formation rather than only individual march sizes.
  • Check losses and rewards after the attempt before repeating it.

Improve one raid at a time

Record the formation and result. If a stack is consistently lost early or the raid is too costly, review its size and match-up with the organiser before sending more of everything.

Avoid treating a colour match as proof that the army is strong enough. Eligibility and a sensible combat plan are separate checks.

See training speed versus queue size when rebuilding, and the calendar for estimated event dates.

Check current requirements in-game before committing troops or resources.
