How to build the Caravan, send resources to players and your Clan, calculate the 20% player tax and compare carrying capacity by level.

What does the Caravan do?
The Caravan transports resources over long distances. Higher building levels increase the carrying capacity of caravans sent to players and to your Clan.
How to build the Caravan
Reach Capitol level 10, select an empty large building tile in your City and choose Caravan from the construction list. Build it before planning a transfer.
How to send resources to another player
Select another player’s City on the World Map to send construction resources, Food or Silver. The receiving City must have a Caravan building.
Player caravans have a 20% tax on the transported load. Clan caravans have their own capacity and tax values, shown separately in the table.
How much does Caravan tax take?
Player transfers have a 20% tax. As a simple example, a gross load of 100,000 leaves 80,000 after that tax. To deliver a net 100,000 at the same rate, budget a gross 125,000. Check whether your transfer screen is displaying the sent or received amount before confirming.
How to send resources to your Clan
Use the relevant Clan resource production structure as the destination. Sending to a clanmate’s City is still a player transfer; it is not the same as a Clan caravan. Check the destination, allowed resource and final amount in the sending window.
Player and Clan capacity are separate columns below, so do not use the larger Clan figure to budget a transfer to another player.
Improving caravans
Upgrade the Caravan and research the appropriate Academy technologies to improve carrying capacity and travel speed.
