Clash for the Throne

Senate voting and Faron: make your votes count

Prepare for the voting window, understand Faron’s delegate bonus and coordinate your Clan’s choice without relying on last-minute messages.

Plan the vote before the scoring day ends

An expensive qualification attempt is less useful if you cannot take part in the election afterwards. Check your availability for the voting window while you are still planning the event.

Agree who will coordinate your Clan's information, where the candidate details will be posted and how members should confirm they have voted. Keep instructions in one easy-to-find message rather than scattering changes across a long conversation.

Confirm eligibility and your delegate total

Only Senators and the Princeps participate in voting. Open the event's Vote option and check the title and delegate count assigned to you. The candidate with the most votes becomes King; a tied final result can leave the Kingdom without an elected King.

Do not confuse CP rank with the eventual election result. Before confirming anything, read the candidate's name and other identifying details carefully, especially if several players use similar names.

What Faron changes

Faron's Grey Eminence bonus adds 900% to delegates: ten times the base amount in total. It is not a nine-times total, and it is not an increase to combat CP.

For example, a base of 10 delegates becomes 100; a base of 25 becomes 250. These are arithmetic examples explaining the multiplier. Use your own displayed delegate total to confirm what is available for this election.

Faron must be active and alive during voting. Owning the avatar is not the same as having it active. Prepare the setup before confirming the vote and inspect the displayed result rather than assuming a later switch will apply retroactively.

If you do not already have Faron, review the actual unlock and switching requirements before making a purchase solely for this event. You can still contribute useful coordination without buying an avatar in a hurry.

Coordinate a clear choice

Ask your Clan for the intended candidate, then verify the choice yourself in the voting window. If the Clan changes its plan, the coordinator should make the replacement instruction unmistakable and check which members have already acted.

Do not assume votes can be undone or reassigned. Read the confirmation screen before submitting, and treat a confirmed choice as committed unless the game explicitly offers a change.

Avoid organising an exact tie as a harmless compromise. If the group wants one candidate elected, make that objective clear and track confirmed votes rather than guesses about who is likely to vote later.

A voting checklist

  • Confirm the scoring stage has finished and you have voting access.
  • Check the voting deadline in your own timezone.
  • If using Faron, check that he is active and alive.
  • Read your actual delegate count.
  • Verify the intended candidate's identity.
  • Review the confirmation before submitting.
  • Confirm the vote registered, then tell your coordinator what you actually completed.

Leave enough time to resolve a missing avatar, unexpected count or connection problem. A reminder several minutes before the deadline is more useful than planning to cast the vote at the last second.

After the election

Check the result in-game and review the notices that follow. Restore the Hero setup you need for your next activity when appropriate, and inspect your City protection separately. Do not assume the end of voting automatically resolves every shield blocker.

For the next event, note practical problems: unclear candidate details, missing confirmations, timezone confusion or members who qualified but were unavailable. Improving that process may be more useful than asking everyone to spend more on the next scoring day.
